Jule Mallett will be demonstrating and introducing us to screen printing at home'at Craft Cafe

Hello Crafters,
This August we will be running, a fabulous Screen Printing Workshop at Craft Cafe.
Artist Jule Mallett will be demonstrating and introducing us to screen printing at home' Explore and experiment with different methods of screen printing on paper which can easily be done at home without the need of specialised equipment.
Working together in small groups, we will create our own stencils and experiment with simple resist printing; explore auto-graphic mark making by painting directly onto a silk screen, use a photo sensitive emulsion border; play with multi coloured squeegee printing and have a go at layering motifs. Screens will be shared as there's a lot to fit in!
Hopefully by the end of the evening you will have an understanding of each method and be able to continue to explore screen print independently at home and have some works of art on paper to take home.
The workshop will run on Thursday 31st August at Craft Cafe in Camberley, 7.30pm to 10.00pm.
The Screen Printing Workshop is £15.00
Please come along wearing old clothes and preferably an apron
