Christmas is here in London Town

Amazing Lights around the tree at the National History Museum
Beautiful Lighting very magical at this time of year

Had a lovely meeting with my textile agent today about my new collection for 2016 which will be heading to New York in January. It is rare for me to be in London and it was so magical with the winter wonderland in Hyde Park and then seeing the lights wrapped round the trees outside the natural History Museum! Spectacular if you get a chance go and see them there amazing!!!!!

Lovely afternoon spent at Charlotte Dee Designs

Today me and the girls drove down to Horsell, a sleepy village in Surrey. To meet Charlotte at Charlotte Dee Designs Studio. What a lovely hour we spent there having a lovely creative chat. I showed Charlotte my work while trying to watch and control a 3 year old making sure that she didn't touch or break something before we left the building and my 7 year old assistant sales expert. Note to self that's why you don't take your kids to meetings
Charlotte Duffain restores, distresses and paints furniture in fabulous colours and has a collective mix of furniture, Lamps, China, Vases and Pictures and much more.
The studio is open weekends at 10.30 to 2.30.
Studio 4, Silks Yard, Church Hill, Horsell GU21 4QE.
It is my pleasure to announce, that Charlotte will be stocking some of my unique birdhouses and embroidered art piece at her studio and we will be working together in the future on some collaborative pieces watch this space!!

Feeling Inspired!

Feeling inspired after creating a new metallic plastic and satin fabric in my studio. The fabric has a seer sucker effect. This fabric will be cut up and used in some nature themed artworks. Photos to follow of when work is finished.
