Disability Awareness teaching a workshop on how to create your very own vintage heart in a box frame.

This evening I was at Disability Awareness in Camberley. I was teaching a workshop on how to create your very own vintage heart in a box frame.
This workshop was for the carers, who look after there partners and children with head injuries and disabilities.
A wonderful charity, who put on these special evenings every six weeks. I felt honoured to give something back to people who have little time for themselves or rest bite.
The evening went down well and was very rewarding!! Everyone made there very own masterpieces. 😃

Artist Jule Mallett will be demonstrating and introducing us to screen printing at home' Explore and experiment with different methods of screen printing on paper which can easily be done at home without the need of specialised equipment.
Working together in small groups, we will create our own stencils and experiment with simple resist printing; explore auto-graphic mark making by painting directly onto a silk screen, use a photo sensitive emulsion border; play with multi coloured squeegee printing and have a go at layering motifs.
